For many different reasons, we all have games that slipped past our radar. Maybe the game wasn’t overly publicized or maybe you were hooked on a different game. I signed up for Gamefly, since I can’t afford to go out and buy every-single game I want! You can join me here, as I work my way down my list of games. Some games will only be a few months old others will be several years old. I’ll share a quick low down on all the games Gamefly sends my way and let you know what’s worth renting, buying, and which one’s make better coasters.
Keep in mind these are not meant to be full game reviews. Let’s face it, if you’re not in love after the first few hours of a game, it’s just not meant to be!
Developed by: Crytek Studios
Genre: First-Person Shooter
Release Date: US: March 22, 2011
Rating: Mature
Set in 2024 after a virus outbreak, what remains of NYC is governed under unjust martial law. Oh, and I can’t forget you’re also fighting off an alien invasion. All this adds up for an action packed game. You start out geared in a combat armor called a Nanosuit. Throughout the game, the suits powers are enhanced. Three basic modes make up the suits abilities: stealth, strength and enhanced movement abilities. The Nanosuit pretty much makes you a one man army, but keep in mind these abilities drain power from the suit. The levels display amazing graphics and the AI is semi-smart. This is a game worth the rental and wasn’t easy to send back.
Final Verdict: Buy
